23-Game Streak Ends, Clark Hitless
Thursday, April 15th, 2032
Marshall Clark's 23-game hitting streak was snapped today at Oranges Ballpark. The 17-year-old Riverside Poly left fielder failed to get a hit in 5 at-bats in the game against the Central Tech Blues, but Riverside came out the winner, 11-7.

"I don't think the streak was ever a big deal to Marshall," Poly manager Gary Corwin said after the game. "He ain't that type of guy. He just wants to help the team win ballgames."

Currently Clark is batting .425 with 65 hits and 6 home runs. He has knocked in 40 runs and scored 31 times.
