Hanson Cracks 3 HR for Patriots

Francis Lewis first baseman Bill Hanson blasted three homers today at Ottawa HS Grounds in the 8-2 Patriots victory over the Tioga Central Tigers.
For the game, Bill Hanson scored 3 times and knocked in 5 runs. When he hit his last home run, his teammates, hearing the crack of the bat, leaped off the bench and rushed on the field to greet the jubilant Hanson when he reached home plate.
"It was just one game, but it sure was a lot of fun -- 3-for-4, three roundtrippers and a win," a gleeful Hanson told BNN reporters in a postgame interview. "What a day."
Bill Hanson grounded out in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Corey Kellis in the 3rd, hit a two-run home run off Corey Kellis in the 4th and hit a two-run home run off Corey Kellis in the 6th.
So far this season Hanson is hitting .333 with 11 home runs.
