Clark's Hit Streak Soars to 20 Games
Saturday, April 10th, 2032
The Riverside Poly may have proven to be mere mortals today as they lost 18-5 to the Carl Albert Titans, but Marshall Clark continued to hit like a god.
The left fielder collected 5 hits in 5 at-bats in the loss and extended his hitting streak to 20 games.
"Clark is playing great and is on fire right now," Poly manager Gary Corwin said. "Hopefully his play can spark the rest of our team and help us pick up some wins."
Clark was apparently not happy with the game and when pressed by reporters in the locker room only said "nothing else matters but the loss." Marshall Clark singled in the 1st, singled in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 6th, singled in the 8th and hit an RBI single in the 9th.
So far this year in 31 games Clark is hitting .452 with 6 home runs, 40 RBIs and 29 runs scored.
