Titans Pitching Ravaged by Clark
Saturday, April 10th, 2032
After his 5-hit effort at Zebras Ballpark was tarnished by Riverside's 18-5 loss to the Carl Albert Titans, left fielder Marshall Clark told BNN beat writers it was "a missed opportunity for a special day."

"It really doesn't matter whether it's sandlot ball, high school or college, two hits in a game is nice," he said. "I would have been happy to stop there if it meant we got a win."

He didn't get the win, but the 17-year-old had a spectacular 5-for-5 game against the Titans.

"His swing is getting there," said Poly skipper Gary Corwin after the game. "We want him to be quick with his swing, short and compact. We want him to be patient and go the other way when he can. Marshall did that to perfection today and we wasted it."

Marshall Clark singled in the 1st, singled in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 6th, singled in the 8th and hit an RBI single in the 9th.

Clark is batting .452 with 6 home runs and 40 RBIs this season.
