Billings West-Pleasantville Fight Results in Suspensions Sunday, March 28th, 2032 Sometimes on the baseball diamond disparaging words are uttered in anger and lead to more than what the players bargained for. That's what happened at yesterday's Billings West Golden Bears-Pleasantville Panthers game at Guadalajara HS Grounds. What started off as a war of words ended up a tag team match as both clubs rushed on the field to defend their honor. When the umpires sorted it all out, they ejected Billings West's Moses Andrews and Pleasantville's Jason Turpin from the game for their roles in starting the melee. Today the players were notified by the league office that they had been suspended 5 games for violating league rules. This year Andrews is hitting .404, produced 14 RBIs and 5 home runs, scored 16 times and gotten on base at a .537 rate. |
