Harkness Tags Panthers for 5 Hits Thursday, March 18th, 2032 It seemed that Tenafly center fielder Zach Harkness could do no wrong as the Tigers KO'd the Panthers, 16-13 today. Harkness rapped out 5 hits in 6 at-bats and seemed to know which pitches Panthers hurlers were throwing. "I think the Tigers were stealing signs," growled one unhappy Derby fan after the game. "I just felt good today. I saw the ball well and just wanted to make good contact and put the ball in play," said the jubilant Harkness in the postgame press interview. Zach Harkness hit a two-run home run off Chris Gatz in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, doubled in the 6th, singled in the 8th and struck out in the 11th.
