McCarthy Cracks 5 Hits Thursday, March 18th, 2032 Kevin McCarthy of the Islanders was unstoppable in today's 26-7 victory over the Seminole Warhawks at Attack Ballpark. He battered them for 5 hits in 6 at-bats. "Boy, I was on the mark today," said the Grand Island center fielder after the game. "I could see the ball real well. It's a great feeling to do this. And besides, 5-for-6 won't hurt your batting average like 0-for-5 will." Kevin McCarthy singled in the 1st, grounded out in the 2nd, hit an RBI single in the 4th, hit an RBI double in the 6th, hit an RBI triple in the 6th, walked in the 8th and hit an RBI single in the 9th.
