Islanders Ken Maynard Down and Out for Year Saturday, March 13th, 2032 Ken Maynard is doubtful to make the playoffs this year, according to sources within the Grand Island organization. Although the injury was initially thought to be not serious, tests have revealed the player will be out up to 13 months with a torn flexor tendon in his elbow. The 16-year-old starting pitcher suffered the injury throwing a pitch in a recent game against the College Park. |
