Consecutive-Game Hit Streak Continues for Nowell Wednesday, March 10th, 2032 William Nowell ran his hitting streak to 20 straight games today at Visigoths Stadium, when he collected 2 hits in 4 at-bats. The feat came, however, as the Downsview Mustangs dropped the game, 20-5, to the Billings West Golden Bears. "Hey, the streak is great -- I hope it never ends," Nowell said later. "But I'm not happy to lose the game." William Nowell singled in the 2nd, flied out in the 3rd, struck out in the 5th and hit a solo-shot off Chris Killingsworth in the 8th. |
