Mohr Keeps Hit Streak Alive Tuesday, March 9th, 2032 With 4 hits at Loggers Ballpark today, Tim Mohr added another game to his hitting streak -- the Central Tech center fielder has now hit safely for 20 games in a row. But the hitting feat wasn't enough for the Blues today, as they fell, 10-4, to the Kearny High Cardinals. "Frankly, I don't care about hits," Kearny High manager Seth Richert said later. "I'll let him get 4 hits in 4 at-bats if it means we get a win." Tim Mohr singled in the 1st, hit an RBI double in the 3rd, singled in the 5th and hit a three-run home run off Juan Torres in the 7th. |
