Lions Ace Ludewig Cops Cy Young Award

The Pacific League announced today that Andy Ludewig has been chosen the Cy Young Award winner for 2034. The Saitama Seibu starter had everything working for him this past season as he breezed to a 5-0 record.
In his award-winning season Ludewig crafted a 1.43 ERA in 50.1 innings with 79 strikeouts and 20 walks. Opposing batters hit .185 against him in his 10 starts.
Hachemon Hitomi of the ORIX Buffaloes finished second in voting, while Pete Willoughby of the Hokkaido Nippon-Ham Fighters finished third.
