Hokkaido Nippon-Ham's Kato Collects July Batting Honor Tuesday, August 1st, 2034 Hokkaido Nippon-Ham Fighters fans believe they've got a talented young star in Takahiro Kato. He did nothing to dissuade that notion in July, as he hit .330 with 13 home runs, 32 RBIs and 20 runs scored. The end result was the right fielder being named the Pacific League Batter of the Month. This season Kato is batting at a .359 clip with 29 home runs and 80 RBIs. |
