ORIX Narrowly Wins Pacific Division Friday, July 28th, 2034 On the field, they performed valiantly this season, officially capturing the 5th Pacific Division crown in franchise history. Off the field, the ORIX Buffaloes celebrated like excited schoolboys - yelling, chanting, singing and looking forward to the future with incredible optimism. "It's not hard to get excited about this group of guys and what we can do," said first baseman Keita Sato. "I don't think there's anyone in NIPPON BASEBALL LEAGUE who doesn't think we can win the Japan Series Championship and at the very least, we've got respect around the league." The team has a 37-23 record and will be looking to win the 4th Japan Series Championship in franchise history. |
