CL Names Best Player Monday, July 3rd, 2034 The premier performer in the Central League this week was Hiromi Nagao of the Yomiuri Giants. The hot-hitting 21-year-old left fielder put up a .581 average and .639 on-base percentage, piling up 18 hits in 31 at-bats, 6 home runs, 17 RBIs and 17 runs scored. That kind of hitting got him the CL Player of the Week honors. In 37 games this season Nagao has batted at a .413 pace with 62 hits and 17 home runs. |
