Hiromi Nagao Wins CL Trophy Monday, June 19th, 2034 Yomiuri Giants left fielder Hiromi Nagao walked away with the Central League Player of the Week Award today after putting up some impressive numbers over the past seven days. "The Giants fans are really behind me right now," said the 21-year-old. "That helps. They give you the confidence to go out there and do better." Nagao batted .500 (11-for-22) with 3 home runs and 7 RBIs this week on his way to the award. This year Nagao has batted at a .394 pace with 41 hits, 10 home runs, 27 RBIs and scored 24 times. |
