Big Day with Bat: Tokunaga 5-for-7 Thursday, June 15th, 2034 ORIX third baseman Heita Tokunaga had a big day at Ballpark of Nasu College today against the Chiba Lotte Marines. The 21-year-old, who is not typically considered a big threat with the bat, went 5-for-7 and led the Buffaloes to a 17-3 triumph over Chiba Lotte. "Hey, I'm as surprised as you guys are," Tokunaga said in his postgame comments, smiling as he scolded the press corps for underestimating him. "Maybe I'm not so bad at the plate after all." Heita Tokunaga doubled in the 1st, flied out in the 2nd, hit a two-run double in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, singled in the 7th, singled in the 8th and grounded out in the 9th.
