PL Player of the Week Selected Monday, June 12th, 2034 The votes have been tallied and the winner of the Pacific League Player of the Week has been named. It was awarded earlier today to Kaiji Nagata for his great week at the plate. The Fukuoka SoftBank shortstop took home the trophy by banging out 15 hits in 32 at-bats for a .469 batting average, driving in 11 runs and scoring 9 times. This year Nagata is hitting .393, produced 23 RBIs and 11 home runs, scored 24 times and gotten on base at a .471 rate. |
