Nagao Extends Hit Streak to 25 Games Sunday, June 4th, 2034 Yomiuri lost to the Chunichi Dragons 6-2 at Ballpark of Yamagata College today, but Hiromi Nagao kept his consecutive-game hitting streak alive with 1 hit. The Giants left fielder has now delivered hits in 25 straight games. "Hiromi has a nice streak going, but the scoreboard tells the important story today," Yomiuri manager Masato Ojima told reporters after the game. "We lost, no matter how many hits anyone had."
