Swallows End Kym's Streak Wednesday, May 24th, 2034 It was a doubly miserable day today for Min-u Kym of the Chunichi Dragons, as he saw his 23-game hitting streak end and his team lose 7-2 to the Tokyo Yakult Swallows at Rebels Ballpark. The 21-year-old second baseman was held hitless in 4 at-bats by the Swallows. "Anyone on a 23-game hitting streak is going to be a tough out," Tokyo Yakult manager Jay Churchill said later. "But we had a plan and we were careful about it, and got it done." |
