Kym Has 20-Game Hitting Streak Saturday, April 1st, 2034 Min-u Kym, second baseman for the Chunichi Dragons, ran his consecutive-game hitting streak to 20 games with 2 hits in his club's 20-6 victory today over the Yokohama Bay Stars at Ballpark of Nakashibetsu College today. "Not the outcome we wanted," Yokohama manager Juan Alea said. "There's never a good time to lose, and it's never fun to be on the wrong end of somebody else's accomplishment." Min-u Kym struck out in the 1st, flied out in the 2nd, grounded out in the 4th, walked in the 6th, hit a two-run single in the 6th and singled in the 8th. So far this year Kym has hit .389 with 6 home runs, 23 RBIs and 33 runs scored. |
