Matsuda Top CL Starter in May Wednesday, June 1st, 2033 Over the past month Yoshiyuki Matsuda has turned quite a few heads. He's young, talented and able to pitch with the established arms in the Central League. He proved all that and now he's been named May's Pitcher of the Month. The rookie for the Yokohama Bay Stars posted 2-0 mark and a 1.02 ERA. In 3 starts he tossed 17.2 innings, permitted 11 hits and fanned 15 batters. |
