Wednesday, April 20th, 2033
He's only 20 years old, but Chang-se Kim of the Hokkaido Nippon-Ham Fighters has clearly established himself as a star of NIPPON BASEBALL LEAGUE.

His status grew today as the ace pitcher was named the winner of the 2032 Pacific League Most Valuable Player Award.

"I just want to pitch well and win games," he said. "The awards are nice though."

Kim's award-winning season saw him put up a 6-2 record through 12 starts, throwing 57 innings. He had 62 strikeouts with 20 walks and a 1.11 ERA. Opponents hit only .170 against him during the season.

Takahiro Kato of the Hokkaido Nippon-Ham Fighters finished second in voting, while Tatsuya Inouye of the Chiba Lotte Marines finished third.
