Dragons Win Tight Central Division Race Wednesday, March 30th, 2033 In what was a fantastic bit of NIPPON BASEBALL LEAGUE drama, the Central Division remained contested until the final day of the 2032 season. In the end, the Chunichi Dragons have triumphed and captured top spot in the division for the 6th time in team history. "How sweet it is. The champagne tastes great right about now," said catcher Yoshiya Kuwabara as he celebrated with teammates. "It may have come down to a single game, but this is the culmination of a season's worth of hard work." On the season, Chunichi has a 36-25 record. The club will be looking for the 4th NIPPON BASEBALL LEAGUE championship in franchise history. |
