Postseason Bid Ends for Hiroshima Toyo Monday, March 21st, 2033 They put up a valiant effort, but the Hiroshima Toyo Carp didn't have what it takes to make the NIPPON BASEBALL LEAGUE playoffs in 2032. The club was officially eliminated from postseason qualification today. "Sucks," said Carp first baseman Ryuji Hayashida. This is the club's 7th playoff miss in a row. They last appeared in the postseason in 2025. In the last 10 seasons, the Carp have missed the playoffs 9 times. In total, the Carp have missed the playoffs 17 times in their 20-year history. Hiroshima Toyo last won the Japan Series Championship in 2014. |
