CL Presents Player of the Week Trophy Monday, May 17th, 2032 Hiroshima Toyo Carp right fielder Senta Nakano walked away with the Central League Player of the Week Award today after putting up some impressive numbers over the past seven days. "The Carp fans are really behind me right now," said the 19-year-old. "That helps. They give you the confidence to go out there and do better." Nakano batted .478 (11-for-23) with 6 home runs and 15 RBIs this week on his way to the award. Nakano is presently batting .333 with 18 home runs, 39 runs scored and 49 RBIs. His OBP is .435. |
