Justin Dopp Hurt, Out 6 Months Wednesday, May 12th, 2032 Justin Dopp at first refused to leave today's ORIX-Saitama Seibu game after he suffered a torn rotator cuff while throwing a pitch. But his manager convinced him not to be foolish. "I want to be on the field," the feisty Saitama Seibu reliever said. "I'll play through just about anything." Given time to reflect on the situation, he knew it was in his best interest to get immediate treatment. The injury is expected to keep Dopp out of action for 6 months. So far this year Dopp has delivered no saves. In 10 relief appearances he has 29 strikeouts in 27.2 innings with a 10.41 ERA and no wins and 1 loss. |
