Buffaloes Ming Smacks 5 Hits Wednesday, May 5th, 2032 No matter what the Chiba Lotte Marines threw at him today, Fu-chi Ming hit it. He easily handled Marines pitching, going 5 for 6 and helping the Buffaloes to a 10-3 triumph at Ballpark of Nasu College. "The way I was swinging today, I think I could have closed my eyes and hit the ball," he told BNN reporters in the postgame interview. Told of Ming's quip, Marines skipper Motoyuki Hayashi said he "would take him up on that next time." Fu-chi Ming struck out in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 1st, singled in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 5th, singled in the 7th and hit an RBI single in the 9th.
