Tokyo Yakult Starter Wins April's Pitcher Award Saturday, May 1st, 2032 Over the past month Mike Boyer has turned quite a few heads. He's young, talented and able to pitch with the established arms in the Central League. He proved all that and now he's been named April's Pitcher of the Month. The rookie for the Tokyo Yakult Swallows posted 4-0 mark and a 2.40 ERA. In 5 starts he tossed 30 innings, permitted 23 hits and fanned 18 batters. |
