25-Game Hitting Streak for Adkinson Thursday, April 29th, 2032 Dustin Adkinson has been on a tear for several weeks, and his hitting streak just keeps getting longer. The 19-year-old Chunichi Dragons right fielder extended his streak today to 25 games, going 4-for-6 as Chunichi got the best of the Hanshin Tigers at Ballpark of Otofuke College, 13-4. "Dustin has been playing real well lately and we're proud of him," Dragons manager Nick Murphy said. Dustin Adkinson struck out in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 2nd, struck out in the 4th, hit a solo-shot off Jin-yong Kang in the 7th, singled in the 8th and hit a GRAND SLAM off Jason Hampton in the 9th. Currently Adkinson has 11 home runs and a .398 batting average. |
