Varner Triumphs in Cy Young Award Voting Thursday, August 3rd, 2034 The hottest hurler in the CANADIAN BASEBALL LEAGUE this season was Walton Varner of the Saskatoon Legends. He caught the attention of everybody in the league on his way to winning the 2034 Canada Pro Feeder Cy Young Award. Varner starred with an impressive 6-3 record in 12 starts. The Legends ace gave up 51 base hits and struck out 87 in 63.1 innings with a 2.56 ERA. Zack Hogan of the London Monarchs finished second in voting, while Stephen Lau of the Montreal Royales finished third. |
