Big Day for Horne: Swats 5 Hits Thursday, July 6th, 2034 Saints right fielder Tom Horne had his way with Kelowna pitching today at Blue Wings Ballpark and mauled them for 5 hits in 5 at-bats. His efforts were all in vain, though, as the Heat ruined his great day by toppling the Saints, 8-5. "I had a great day, but you've got to give Kelowna credit, they did what they had to do to win," he told reporters after the game. "They weren't very impressed with my 5 hits." "Oh, we noticed what Horne did today," Heat skipper Bob Cunningham said. "He had quite a game. I can tell you this, we will pitch him a little differently the next time we face him." Tom Horne doubled in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, singled in the 5th, singled in the 7th and singled in the 9th.
