Saints Renouf Gone for Year
Friday, May 19th, 2034
The doctors have spoken and Peyton Renouf of the Trois-Rivieres Saints didn't like what he heard. The 21-year-old starting pitcher is almost certainly gone for the rest of the year and depending on his progress could miss some of next season as well. Renouf sustained his season-ending injury during the Calgary Outlaws game yesterday at Blue Wings Ballpark. He had to leave the game because he hurt himself while throwing a pitch. Today the Trois-Rivieres medical staff reported Renouf had a torn labrum and would be absent from the lineup for at least 5 months.
