Burt Kavanagh was sending souvenirs to the sun gods all game long in the 11-5 Saskatoon Legends triumph at Hatchets Ballpark today.
The 21-year-old put on a show for fans, launching not one, not two, but three home runs into the stands and powering the Legends past the London Monarchs.
"One homer's good, two's great, three's out of sight," Kavanagh told BNN reporters after the game. "I can't wait until next game. I really feel good at the plate."
The right fielder went 3-for-3, rung up 4 RBIs and scored 5 runs on his record-setting day.
Burt Kavanagh hit a two-run home run off Garrison Hennessey in the 1st, walked in the 3rd, hit a solo-shot off Conor Bruce in the 4th, hit a solo-shot off Conor Bruce in the 7th and walked in the 9th.
