St.john Stretches Hit String to 20 Wednesday, July 6th, 2033 Monarchs left fielder Eric St.john has extended his hitting streak to 20 games. He went 1-for-4 in today's game against the Trois-Rivieres Saints. London won the ballgame 8-2. "Got a hit and a win," he said later. "OK, I'll take it." Eric St.john flied out in the 1st, flied out in the 2nd, struck out in the 5th, singled in the 7th and walked in the 8th. So far this year in 49 games St.john is hitting .319 with 11 home runs, 31 RBIs and 33 runs scored. |
