The season is ending on a bad note for Ben Charron, starting pitcher for the Niagara Stars. It was announced today that he will miss the rest of the season because of injury. Charron was hurt against the Montreal Royales while throwing a pitch. He suffered a torn ulnar collateral ligament and will be out for at least 10 months.

So far in 10 appearances this season, Charron has recorded 2 wins and sustained 2 losses. He has pitched 45 innings, yielded 42 hits, fanned 62 and has a 5.20 ERA.
