Rowdy Players Suspended by League Friday, June 17th, 2033 Saskatoon and London were informed today by the league's commissioner that two of their players have been given 7-game suspensions, citing their "inappropriate actions" in the recent altercation in a game played at Ballpark of Red Deer College. For their parts in the bench-clearing episode, the Legends Carl Poulin and the Monarchs James Lightheart will be sitting on the sidelines and will not be permitted to participate in games until the suspensions are served. This season Poulin has hit 10 home runs and posted a .309 batting average. |
