Niagara's Sheppard Will Miss Season
Thursday, June 9th, 2033
Bill Sheppard has to call it a season. The Niagara Stars left fielder sustained a season-ending injury against the Victoria Capitals and will not play again this year according to club doctors. Sheppard was injured while making a defensive play. His doctors diagnosed it as a torn labrum and stated that he would not be able to play for 4-5 months.
Thus far in 2033 Sheppard is hitting .323 with 10 home runs, 27 RBIs, 22 runs scored and has compiled a .460 OBP.
