London-Niagara Free-for-All Gets 8-Game Suspensions Monday, May 30th, 2033 The league decided to come down hard on Jim Jameson of the Monarchs and Gilbert Beckmann of the Stars for their roles in a brawl during a game between London and Niagara at Hatchets Ballpark. Both combatants will receive 8-game suspensions because of their confrontation. Thus far this year Jameson is batting .277 with 2 home runs, 13 RBIs and 8 runs scored. This year Beckmann has made 5 starts, thrown 21.2 innings, fanned 15 batters and walked 19. His won-lost record is 1-0 with a 4.57 ERA. |
