Prest Chosen #1 Player Monday, March 21st, 2033 It can be difficult for a young player to step out of the shadows and assert himself in the CANADIAN BASEBALL LEAGUE, but last week Vernon Prest of the Trois-Rivieres Saints reminded everyone just why he's here as he threw up numbers that made him an easy selection for Player of the Week. Prest rocked opposing pitching for a .588 average (10-for-17), 3 home runs and 7 RBIs to come away with the award. This year Prest has hit at a .250 pace and produced 23 RBIs, 5 home runs and scored 18 runs. |
