Season Possibly Over for Rich Tanner
Sunday, March 13th, 2033
Rich Tanner will soon find out from his doctors if his season will continue. The first diagnosis was not too positive and indicated the Victoria reliever could miss the remainder of the year. Tanner was injured while throwing a pitch in the Capitals-Heat clash at Brantford College Grounds recently. Doctors said he has bone chips in his elbow and would be out a minimum of 5-6 months.
For the season Tanner has made 18 relief appearances, recorded 10 saves and compiled a 0-2 won-lost mark and a 1.98 ERA. In pitching 13.2 innings, he has totaled 16 strikeouts and 17 walks.
