Canning Week's Top Player Monday, May 17th, 2032 Carter Canning stepped up to the plate in a big way last week and today he took home the CANADIAN BASEBALL LEAGUE Player of the Week honors. The Victoria catcher ripped opposing pitchers for 13 hits in 24 at-bats and 4 home runs. He put together a sizzling .542 batting average as he knocked in 11 runs and scored 8 times. This year Canning is hitting .340 with 14 home runs and 41 RBIs to his credit. He has gotten on base at a .430 clip and scored 35 runs. |
