Tuesday, May 30th, 2034
Mike Gamble took USA NCAA DIVISION I by storm this year, and he did it all at the age of 21.
For his spectacular campaign, the Mississippi State Bulldogs star has been named the 2034 Rod Dedeaux League Most Valuable Player Award recipient.
"To be considered amongst the best in the league is overwhelming," said the right fielder.
On the season he compiled a .400 batting average to go with a .493 on-base percentage. The native of Wilmette, Illinois also added 9 doubles, no triples, 27 home runs, 64 RBIs and 54 runs scored.
Jason Cizek of the Houston Cougars finished second in voting, while Rickey Moses of the LSU Tigers finished third.
