No Late-Season Magic Coming: Arizona State Out of Playoffs Tuesday, May 9th, 2034 Members of the Arizona State Sun Devils are left wondering what could have been today, as the team has been eliminated from postseason contention. "You look back at a handful of games that easily could have gone the other way for us," said center fielder Sam Henderson. "We really think we were good enough to get to the playoffs this year, so it stings." This is the club's 4th playoff miss in a row. They last appeared in the postseason in 2030. In the last 10 seasons, the Sun Devils have missed the playoffs 9 times. In total, the Sun Devils have missed the playoffs 21 times in their 22-year history. |
