Wolverines Travis Rufus Will Miss Season
Sunday, May 7th, 2034
When Travis Rufus was hurt against the Vanderbilt Commodores, the Michigan Wolverines were hopeful that the injury was not serious. However, it proved to be more severe than first thought. The 21-year-old reliever suffered a torn flexor tendon in his elbow throwing a pitch in yesterday's game. Team doctors told BNN today that Rufus would miss 9 months of the season.

Crunching the numbers on Rufus for the year, he has made 16 relief appearances, recorded no saves and compiled a 0-2 won-lost mark and 2.01 ERA. In pitching 22.1 innings, he has totaled 27 strikeouts and 7 walks.
