Season Ends for John Cox of Vanderbilt Saturday, May 6th, 2034 The season is ending on a bad note for John Cox, starting pitcher for the Vanderbilt Commodores. It was announced today that he will miss the rest of the season because of injury. Cox was hurt against the South Carolina Gamecocks while throwing a pitch. He suffered a torn rotator cuff and will be out for at least 5 months. Thus far this season, Cox has tossed 38.1 innings in 9 starts, fanned 40 batters, walked 13 and put up a 3.29 ERA with 1 win and 2 losses. |
