Kilpatrick Runs Hit String to 20 Straight Games Thursday, May 4th, 2034 Eric Kilpatrick of the Virginia Cavaliers tagged 1 hit in today's 4-3 loss to the Florida State Seminoles at Ballpark of Redwood College to run his hitting streak to 20 straight games. "I realize it's unlikely to have a 20-game streak and not have a couple losses mixed in," he said later. "But it still takes the fun out of it." Eric Kilpatrick flied out in the 1st, flied out in the 4th, grounded out in the 6th, singled in the 8th and flied out in the 10th. Thus far this season in 41 games Kilpatrick is batting .315 with 7 home runs, 23 RBIs and 36 runs scored. He has 53 hits in 168 at-bats. |
