The quest for the playoffs ended for the Iowa State Cyclones today, as they were mathematically eliminated from contention. "Not the first time I've experienced this," said Cyclones manager Theodore Foster, "but it never gets fun." This is the club's 12th playoff miss in a row. They last appeared in the postseason in 2022. In total, the Cyclones have missed the playoffs 21 times in their 22-year history. |
