Oregon's Cowan Will Miss Season Wednesday, May 3rd, 2034 A blow for Rory Cowan today -- team doctors confirmed he will miss 12 months with a torn rotator cuff. Cowan suffered the injury throwing a pitch. Although officials from the Oregon Ducks are confident he'll make a full recovery, doubts will persist about Cowan's ability to return fully fit with an injury of this nature. Taking a look at his season, Cowan has made 19 relief appearances, recorded no saves and compiled a 0-1 won-lost mark and a 4.70 ERA.
