Nick Richmond Injured, Out for Season Monday, May 1st, 2034 A blow for Nick Richmond today -- team doctors confirmed he will miss 8-9 months with a partially torn ulnar collateral ligament. Richmond suffered the injury throwing a pitch. Although officials from the South Mississippi Golden Eagles are confident he'll make a full recovery, doubts will persist about Richmond's ability to return fully fit with an injury of this nature. So far this year Richmond has been credited with 2 saves, registered a 2.60 ERA and struck out 23 in 17.1 innings. He also has a 0-0 record. |
