RDL Honors Gamble, #1 Batter in April Monday, May 1st, 2034 Mississippi State Bulldogs fans may just have witnessed a star player blossoming before their eyes in April. Mike Gamble put up a remarkable month at the age of 21 and has been named the Rod Dedeaux League Batter of the Month. For the month, Gamble hit .402 with 15 home runs, 32 RBIs and 31 runs scored. For the season Gamble has produced 62 hits in 147 at-bats for a .422 average with 24 home runs and gotten on base at a .511 clip. |
